The uplifting spirit of the sea and jungle slope in KK is nearly dead

The uplifting spirit of the sea and jungle slope in KK is nearly dead.
The piece of greenery alone the signal hill slopes from the sabah KK port /harbour to Karamunsing (opposite KK Police Hq) should be retained as natural jungles and not to be disturbed for any concrete features.
It has been so as a natural green jungle for so long and recently unfortunately some parts opposite the Wisma Budaya where the office of the Environment Protection Department (EPD) is sited has been disturbed for a likely hotel of 300 rooms on the slopes.  It is indeed ugly.  Why EPD has not called for EIA of that project?  Has EPD turned a blind eye on that unsightly development under the long standing Istana building up there?  It is still not too late to stop that project and raise awareness that the jungle be undisturbed.
Traffic wise, the area is also very congested in the peak hours in the narrow dual carriage way.
Isn’t it a stretch of heritage zone of KK city where further down we have the historic Merdeka Padang and the 1905 Atkinson Clock Tower (ACT) and the Community centre with the KK watch tower on top of the hill there?
It is very disturbing that a very tall 18 storeyed building on the same site of the ACT would be developed to scar the heritage zone when ACT has been gazetted as protected item.
The other disturbing environment adverse development is our coastline from Likas to Tanjung Aru including Tanjung Aru Beach has been created by some people with “eyesores” instead of open spaces (green lung) in an already overcrowded concrete jungle in KK CBD.  So soon when we drive through the KK CBD at ground level, we would not sight the sea view as blocked by concrete jungle.
What is happening to Musa Aman’s claim of no development (our comfort zone) in the sea front of KK?
