Two months later nobody is charged

What about the alleged fake doctorates and other paper qualifications within academias and others?
What TYT said reminds me of the Water Department corruption scandal.
First we saw the massive boxes and stacks of Ringgit notes of RM50 and RM100 denominations and some precious treasures and luxury cars splashed over the mass media.
Then we see some of the accused going to the courts for remand only. Their faces were hidden by clothing.
Only a few names were mentioned in the press although more than 20 suspects were arrested to face action.
Later, we were shown massive documents of the water projects worth RM3.3b since 2009 again splashed in some mass media.
But almost two months since the corruption was exposed, no one had been charged in court although much assets of the suspects were confiscated by MACC. So where is all the confiscated assets worth nearly RM500m of expected loss of RM1b?
Have such assets been returned to the water department to be used to continue to complete whatever left to be done in the water infrastructure especially in the rural areas where the demand is greatest.
The scandal reminded me of the Bumiputra Malaysia Finance (BMF) scandal back in the late 1980s in Hong Kong where the auditor was also killed.
have we learned anything from that unfortunate debacle?
We now see the establishment of socalled “sovereign fund” 1MDB now also implicated in a scandal.
With all the terrible background in ill intended modus operandi which is unlikely to end, how would Malaysia rise up to “drain the swamp” unless we have now in place a totally new administration with zero corruption as the paramount performance index?
Otherwise all new graduates would go into the same old administrative setup and environment and sink with the trend in the corruption.
Lets move on with fresh air in Malaysia as we cannot survive any longer with meaningless slogans once like Clean Efficient and Trust (amanah, bersih, cekap) on paper only.

TYT calls for clean
graduates for 21st century
TYT Sabah Tun Juhar Mahiruddin at the recent convocation of
University Malaysia Sabah called on graduates “The younger generation should
deter themselves from corruption or any favours as it could eliminate wisdom
and contradict the truth.”
Is it the first time that the TYT himself once a top civil
servant make such a top order in an environment loaded with corruption for
decades in the civil service vis-à-vis the politicians and the political
masters?
I hope TYT would now come up with a tough programme involving
more than MACC and more educational awareness to clean up the “filthy” system
like USA President elect doing something like “drain the swamp” in the US Government. What about the approach on alleged fake
Doctorate and other paper qualifications within the academic and others?
What TYT say about this is possibly a reflection of the many
shameful pictures in the mass media and the social media about the water
department corruption of alleged “RM1b and more”.
First we saw the massive boxes and stakes of Ringgit notes of
RM50 and RM100 denominations and some precious treasures and luxurious cars
splashed over the mass media. Then we
see some of the accused going to the Courts for remand only. Their faces were hidden by some
clothing. Only a few name names were

Maybe many have short memory as memory flashes back to me
when I saw the massive documents of the water scandal splashed in the newspaper
as it was sort of done in printed 13 volumes of the thousands of pages of the
scandal of Bank Malaysia Finance (BMF) back in the late 1980s in Hong Kong
where the auditor was killed. So have we
learned anything from that unfortunate debacle despite the printed volumes
except the criminals –real and assumed- have sort of “escaped” with light
punishment. From such development, it is
obvious some people in the authorities were cohorts with the criminals as why
was BMF created in the first place. Wasn’t it created to be conduit for pay
offs and massive corruptions ensued with very poor management controls of the systems
in place? How many billions of Ringgit
were lost was unknown although much of the money came from Petronas which has
just taken over the oil and gas assets
of Sabah and Sarawak with PDA Act 144 in mid 1970. So were the “payoffs” made via a foreign company
connected with Petronas deals? We can now
see a similar double with the establishment of socalled “sovereign fund” 1MDB
now also involved with siphoning off the money arising from Malaysia through such
a “closed” vehicle.
With all the terrible background in ill intended modus
operandi which is unlikely to end, how would Malaysia rise up to clean the “drain
or swamp” unless we have now in place a totally new administration with zero
corruption as the paramount performance index?

andenvironment and sunk with the trend in the corruption.
